This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
The month of June was almost a perfect one for me in terms of being exposed to some great professionals and learning more about some of the people & things that have influenced me over the years. It started with the mini-con (see earlier journals to see who was there, or the pictures in the gallery)where I got sit next to industry pros like Al Bigley and Andy Smith and I had kids begging me to draw them pictures. Then I got to promote a visit by Dan Povenmire, the creator of Phineaus and Ferb (and the voice of the doctor). The kids at the library's Cartooning Club then learned about Scooby Doo and came to appreciate the history of the Scooby Gang. Finally, I helped arrange a visit to another branch library by Rudy Nappi- what a humble, gracious man! Rudy Nappi was the illustrator of the majority of the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books, but he said something that should give every artist pause. Talking about the first magazine cover he ever did, he told the kids "I'm actually ashamed of it now." The cover featured a woman in a state of half-undress, holding a gun, with a dead body in the background. Back then he was looking for work and took just about any job he could, but now at 86 he said he looks back and wished he had a little more patience for something good to come across- after all, these were the covers he had to present when he interviewed to do children's books, and they are part of his legacy to this day.
i'm keeping what you sent for a while so i'm replying like this. I agree with everything you said. but when it comes to making friends I'm really no good at it because I always want to put God in and most people don't like that. God sends me to break down walls in peoples lives and nobody likes that. the one time I try a different tactic it blows up in my face. I guess I just want to be an effective soldier in his army. so i never know if I push someone away because of me or because of God.If it is me I feel that I failed Him. I don't care if I am hated as long as I know that I am doing what he wants. Its knowing that, that is the problem.

Any pics in my gallery that look good are because God shone through. Any that don't are because I wasn't listening to Him.
