Touch the hem of His garment by captblitzdawg Touch the hem of His garment by captblitzdawg
A story seen in both Matt 9:20-22 & Luke 8:43-48 where a woman with a chronic hemorrhage is healed by touching Jesus' garment. It is at tis moment the woman is apologizing to Jesus for touching him when he says, "Woman, your faith has made you well." I tried hard to create a variety of people from different social strata and a variety of reactions & responses.

I love it! Good detail for a line art or whatever lol. Jesus kind of looks like he is running away, but his face looks so compassionate and sweet... Overall, fantastic job! I love this story.

Yeah, the way I posed Jesus gave me all kinds of trouble- I was trying to do too much. I wanted Jesus turning, taking her hand and stopping in stride. Live and learn! Thank you for looking and for taking the time to comment!

this is very good line art. it is really difficult to draw realistic figures - esp posed ones. you did both quite well. :D

I appreciate it- I'd like to do more Bible illustrations and stories in the future. I'm in the middle of about three projects right now.

Thank you! I wanted there to be a crowd (= variety) but I don't think it's close to the size in the Scriptures. Obviously, this is after she said, "It is I who touched your garment." giving the crowd a chance to react.

Yeah, it's hard to find a balance between a crowd and a cluttered picture... I think you found a good middle ground here, and the expressions are well... um... expressed...

Bad word choice... ayah...

This is something I started on a couple of years ago- I'd put it aside and pick it up once every blue moon or so. Last week I decided to add to it and ink it. In the future, I plan to color this on the computer and see how it goes! Thanks for the fave BTW!
